Hypokalemia Assessment Findings

  • Thready, weak, irregular pulse

  • Diminished breath sounds

  • Anxiety, lethargy, confusion, coma

  • Skeletal muscle weakness, leg cramps

  • Nausea, vomiting, constipation,

  • K level lower than 3.5 mEq/L (3.5 mmol/ L)

  • ECG changes: ST depression; flat
