Burn Depth
Superficial-thickness burn: Mild to severe erythema (pink to red) is present, but no blisters.
Superficial partial-thickness burn: Large blisters may cover an extensive area.
Deep partial-thickness burn: Wound surface is red and dry with white areas in deeper parts
Full-thickness burn: Appears waxy white, deep red, yellow, brown, or black
Deep full-thickness burn: Eschar is hard and inelastic.
